Baptism
Baptism is an important step that shows others we have personally trusted Jesus for our salvation. Jesus was baptized when He was on the earth, and we do this to follow His example. Water baptism is a beautiful picture of the death and resurrection of Jesus, and symbolizes the new life we find in Him. We believe that water baptism is a public declaration of three important things: you are a follower of Jesus Christ, you are beginning a changed life in Christ, and you are part of a new family.
Connect Groups
God's pathway to experience freedom begins with having the right people in your life. We all know that sharing life in community is part of our design, but truly meaningful relationships aren't always easy to find. That's why Connect Groups exist - to make these life-changing relationships relevant and accessible to you. Connect groups are open to anyone, and there is something for everyone!
nextSTEPS
At Riverland, we have a very clear, simple path to help you connect and find purpose: nextSTEPS. God has an incredible purpose for your life, and nextSTEPS is designed to help you connect with that purpose.
At nextSTEPS, we simply want to meet you over lunch and find out more about each other. You will hear our mission and vision. There will be time for Q & A with our pastoral staff and you will have an opportunity to become a member of the Riverland family if you’d like.
If you’re interested in serving opportunities that align with your gifts, passions, and availability you’ll also have the opportunity to meet some of our team leaders.

Dream Team
The Dream Team is a group of incredible people that have discovered their gifts and passions and are actively serving others with them. From creating a comfortable environment by serving on a Guest Services Team, to leading the next generation to Jesus by serving on a Children's Ministries Team, or crafting a dynamic experience with the Production Team, and tearing down barriers across our city by leading a Connect Group or joining with the Outreach Team - we are a group that makes a difference and finds fulfillment by using our gifts to serve others and point them to Christ.
